The Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Alian\u00e7a de Miseric\u00f3rdia is present in Venezuela in two cities in the same state: <\/span>city<\/span> Guayana (since 2014) and <\/span>city<\/span> Bol\u00edvar (since 2018), where currently <\/span><\/span>is dedicated to helping children in situations of social vulnerability, serving two \u201cOratories\u201d<\/em> with capacity for 60 children each, totaling 120 children: the \u201cSan Pablito Oratory\u201d<\/em>, located in the Brisas del Sur sector, in Ciudad Bol\u00edvar, and the Divino Ni\u00f1o Oratory, in San Felix \u2013 Ciudad Guayana, both located in peripheral regions of the state of Bol\u00edvar.<\/p>

The country today faces crises of all kinds \u2013 social, economic and political \u2013 and situations such as poverty, hunger, lack of resources, or even chronic malnutrition of children under 5 years of age, according to research carried out by the Institute of Economic and (IIES) of the Andr\u00e9s Catholic University <\/span>bello<\/span>, reach up to 96% from Venezuelan households. <\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span>According to official data from UNHCR, the United Nations Refugee Organization, 5.4 million Venezuelans have left the country in recent years and the estimate for next year is 6.4 million, a figure that would surpass the numbers of Syria, a country that is at war and does not have the same natural resources as Venezuela.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

The oratories are open from Tuesday to Friday, promoting religious, cultural and educational activities, as well as actions that help the human and social development of each participant, such as medical and dental care, and social assistance, actions promoted by volunteers. 150 meals are offered daily to children and collaborators of both projects, in addition to the same amount of snacks. We pay special attention to the spiritual care of the children's families, making weekly visits to offer spiritual support.<\/p>
