{"id":11670,"date":"2024-12-05T18:18:30","date_gmt":"2024-12-05T21:18:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aliancasocial.org\/?p=11670"},"modified":"2024-12-05T18:18:38","modified_gmt":"2024-12-05T21:18:38","slug":"formatura-da-turma-de-gastronomia-na-vila-cuore","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aliancasocial.org\/en\/formatura-da-turma-de-gastronomia-na-vila-cuore\/","title":{"rendered":"Graduation of the gastronomy class at Vila Cuore"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On December 5, 2024, Vila Cuore, an educational and humanized space of the Alliance of Mercy, in a successful partnership with the <strong>Bia Rabinovich Institute<\/strong>, held the graduation ceremony of<strong> Basic Course in Gastronomic Techniques<\/strong>. With 30 students divided between morning and afternoon classes, the three-month course trained adults to enter the job market or start a business in the gastronomy sector, offering practical techniques and valuing the dignity and potential of each participant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O <strong>Chef Mauricio<\/strong>, one of the chefs responsible for the course, spoke about the importance of the project: <strong>\u201c<em>here we are not just cooking, we are healing scars<\/em><\/strong><em>\u201d.<\/em> Many students came to the course facing personal and emotional challenges, but left with new skills that can transform their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During classes, students learned everything from baking techniques to professional cuts, preparing them to work in commercial kitchens or start their own businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rose<\/strong>, one of the graduates, expressed her gratitude upon completing the course. \u201c<em>I only knew how to cook at home, but here I learned incredible techniques, like making bread. <strong>My heart is full of gratitude for this opportunity.<\/strong>\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Father Evandro Torlai<\/strong>, president of the Alliance of Mercy, who presented the diplomas to the graduates, also spoke about this moment of celebration. <em>\u201cIt was a wonderful morning. People from the surrounding communities of Botuquara, Parque de Taipas and Jardim Rinc\u00e3o took a course in haute cuisine. And look what a wonderful thing\u2026 someone who was here said: &#039;I&#039;m going to help you get into the job market!&#039;. Praise God! Thank you to those who believe, help and pray for this project. Thank you!\u201d <\/em>spoke with gratitude at the end of the ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A successful partnership<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We want to thank the <a href=\"https:\/\/institutobiarabinovich.org.br\/\"><strong>Bia Rabinovich Institute<\/strong><\/a> for this successful partnership that made possible not only the course, but a new stage in the lives of these 30 students who were awakened to a new profession and, consequently, to a new step in their stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Partnerships like this help the Alliance to go much further in its mission of restoring full dignity to so many brothers and sisters in vulnerable situations.
