Instituto Assaí supports the Alliance with donations to Casa de Acolhida in Piracicaba

The Alliance of Mercy expresses deep gratitude to the Assaí Institute for essential support to her Casa de Acolhida Maria Paola do Cordeiro Imolado, in Piracicaba. The Assaí Institute, through the campaign #agasalhoagenteshare, held in June at Assaí Atacadista stores, donated a total of 2,975 pieces of clothing, footwear, bed, table and bath to benefit the sheltered people and their families.

The solidarity campaign, which mobilized the entire network, especially the two stores in Assaí Atacadista in Piracicaba, demonstrated the power of solidarity by providing comfort, dignity and hope to the people most in need. Each donation received will contribute significantly to improving the quality of life of those sheltered, offering them support during the winter.

The Shelter Houses of Covenant of Mercy They represent an important stage on the path to welcoming adults and elderly people experiencing homelessness, drug addiction, abandonment and/or social vulnerability. To achieve restoration for its guests, the institution offers a varied range of activities, such as human and spiritual formation, labor therapy, community activities, physical activities, among others. These actions aim to promote social reintegration and improve the quality of life of beneficiaries.

In addition to material support, the partnership with Instituto Assaí strengthens the Alliance's mission of transforming lives and building a more just and fraternal future for all. The organization highlights the importance of involving the community and partner companies such as Assaí Atacadista, which contribute significantly to the continuity and expansion of its projects.
