On December 11th, the Padre Pio Center for Children and Adolescents (CCA), a project of the Alliance of Mercy, held a Christmas event that touched the lives of more than 350 children with moments of joy, warmth, and hope. The initiative included inflatable toys, music, special foods, and a visit from Santa Claus, who distributed gifts to each participating child.
This action was made possible thanks to the partnership between Santeria (@santeria.tv) and FSB Holding (@fsbholding), who joined forces to provide a day of celebration for the families served. José Edgard, partner at Santeria and friend of the Alliance of Mercy, explains that the event arose from the profound impact of the Alliance's social work in the community, inspiring this act of generosity. He also highlights the essential role of the volunteers and the love that the Alliance teaches to live in every gesture.
Social commitment
The Padre Pio Community Center serves approximately 180 children and adolescents aged 6 to 14 years and 11 months, offering after-school activities that promote social interaction, strengthen bonds, provide education, culture, and foster human development within the families of the Parque de Taipas neighborhood in São Paulo, an area of high social vulnerability. The project aims to create opportunities for development and social support, expanding access to experiences that promote dignity, inclusion, and a sense of belonging for the children and adolescents served.
This Christmas campaign reflects the Alliance of Mercy's ongoing commitment to being close to children and their families, making the community's presence an instrument of real and affective transformation.
