On September 12, the Alliance of Mercy participated in an important ceremony in Manaus: the signing of the Funding Term of Notice 001/2024 of the Social Promotion Fund, promoted by the Government of Amazonas. The event was attended by Governor Wilson Lima and marked a significant moment for the development of the Alliance's social work in the city.
Through this call for proposals, Aliança was awarded R$148,300 to purchase permanent assets for the Casa Restaura-me Project. This project works directly to welcome and reintegrate homeless people into society, offering human and spiritual support to restore each individual's dignity.
The grant reinforces the Alliance’s commitment to continue its missionary and social work, enabling even more effective service to those most in need. During the ceremony, the governor highlighted the importance of supporting civil society organizations (CSOs), encouraging the continuation of their transformative projects.
For the Alliance of Mercy, this support is more than a financial resource: it is a confirmation that God has blessed the mission of being a bridge of mercy in Manaus, ensuring that love and care reach the most vulnerable.
We praise God for this achievement, which will allow us to continue bringing hope and dignity to many brothers and sisters. May we continue steadfastly in our mission, with hearts full of gratitude and faith!
