Alliance of Mercy celebrates 2 years of activities in the USA

A Alliance of Mercy (@allianceofmercy.us) celebrated two years of activities in the United States with a joy-filled meeting at Viva Brazil Signature, in North Miami Beach. The celebration was attended by the president of the Movement, Father Evandro Torlai, who traveled from Brazil especially for the event.

The celebratory dinner brought together partners and volunteers who contribute to the Alliance of Mercy's various social actions, with emphasis on the Consul General of Brazil in Miami, André Odenbreit, and Vice-Consul Gilda Araújo de Souza, demonstrating official support for the cause.

Since its beginning in May 2022 in Miami, the Alliance of Mercy's U.S. mission has expanded to other cities in Florida such as Weston, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Margate, Pompano Beach, and Orlando. In 2023, the group held important events, such as the The House of Arts, which raised funds and benefited actions in favor of the Fraternidade de Senador Camará, in Rio de Janeiro.

The Alliance of Mercy has also strengthened ties with the Archdiocese of Miami and the Diocese of Orlando. A testimony to the mission is the story of a little warrior who faced cancer. Initially atheists, her parents were deeply impacted by the love and prayers of the community, resulting in the mother's conversion upon seeing her daughter's miraculous healing.
