Last Monday, March 17th, another class started the Basic Course in Gastronomic and Confectionery Techniques, a transformative initiative of Covenant of Mercy in partnership with the Bia Rabinovich Institute. This action is part of the social impact promoted by Cuore Educational Village, located in Taipas, Sao Paulo, which trains young people and adults in vulnerable situations for the job market.
Professional training and human development
This is the second class within this partnership and has already started with great expectation and enthusiasm. The opening of the second tumar had 14 students in the Gastronomy class and 18 in the Confectionery class, in addition to the presence of four collaborators from the Institute and five from the Alliance of Mercy.
A Cuore Educational Village is a learning space that has a industrial kitchen model, where students receive practical and theoretical training to develop their culinary skills. In addition to gastronomic and confectionery techniques, participants have access to entrepreneurship and human development classes, strengthening your self-esteem and opening up new professional possibilities.
Opportunity for a better future
The first class of the course, formed in December 2024, has already demonstrated the impact of this project. Rose, one of the graduates, shared her joy and gratitude for the experience:
“I only knew how to cook at home, but here I learned incredible techniques, like making bread. My heart is full of gratitude for this opportunity.”
Stories like Rose's show how professional training can transform lives, giving to people in vulnerable situations the chance of a more promising future.
The partnership between the Alliance of Mercy and the Bia Rabinovich Institute remains firm in its mission to promote dignity through education and professional development. If you want to support this initiative or learn more about the courses, follow our work and help bring hope to more people!
