Lions Charity Run 2025 Brazil: We Run to Serve!

Between the days September 28 and October 5, 2025, Brazil will be the stage for a great movement of solidarity and overcoming: the Lions Charity Run 2025, a charity race with 839 km route, leaving from Curitiba (PR) towards Rio de Janeiro (RJ), passing through cities such as Registro, São Paulo, São José dos Campos, Guaratinguetá, Resende and Juiz de Fora.

The goal is as grand as the challenge: raise funds to help children in socially vulnerable situations in Brazil, promoting transformation through social projects. The action is promoted by amateur athletes, members of Lions Club International, the world's largest humanitarian organization.

“We Run, We Serve!” – We run to serve

Guided by the motto “We Run, We Serve!”, eight runners from Poland, Germany, Ukraine, and Brazil will cross the Southeast of the country in 7 days. The event is 14th Lions Charity Run (LCR), an initiative that, since 2013, has covered more than 10,000 km in 19 countries and raised more than US$ 650 thousand for social causes aimed at underprivileged children around the world.

All funds raised follow the 100% rule: are fully allocated to the benefiting institutions, without any deductions. Runners finance their own participation, with support from sponsors and local Lions.

The Brazilian edition of the Lions Charity Run will benefit three institutions that work directly with children at social risk, one of which is the Aliança de Misericórdia in the São Paulo stage, as the project itself announced:

  • Association for the Promotion of Sports and Leisure (São José dos Pinhais/PR): promotes inclusion and citizenship through sports and leisure, with activities such as volleyball, capoeira and social projects such as MOVE SOLIDÁRIO.
  • Heart of the Alliance of Mercy Village (São Paulo/SP): Located in Parque de Taipas, a region marked by social vulnerability, Vila Cuore is an educational project that transforms lives through the comprehensive education of children and adolescents.
  • Ricardo Moysés Jr. Foundation (Juiz de Fora/MG): offers dignified treatment to children and adolescents with cancer, providing medication, exams, prosthetics and medical equipment to increase their chances of a cure.
