It's 23 years of history, experiences and a lot of gratitude!

On January 1st, Aliança de Misericórdia completed 23 years of foundation and our greatest gift is you! It is a great joy to share this journey together, building bridges, and now we want to take advantage of this great milestone to renew our invitation: do you agree to continue dreaming God's dream with us?

Look, these 23 years have been numerous meetings, with a huge diversity of people, and with each one of them the Alliance can exercise and learn to love, regardless of the situation. Everyone who passed through here left deep marks on our lives, on our history, and even today many are those who help build it!

You already know, but it doesn't hurt to remember that to carry out our mission we have countless people who, with affection and dedication, have never spared efforts to make these 23 years of Work possible. These people offered and continue to support evangelizing actions, as well as various social works in peripheral communities and assisting people living on the streets. Many testified with their own lives that it is possible to overcome challenges and go beyond! Without hesitating, we can say that they were guided by God and sustained by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Today it is possible to look at the past with great gratitude, because we have a rich history, lived with the eyes of faith and creative response to the needs of people and the Church. We therefore want to celebrate these 23 years, yes, but also to celebrate your life offered to God and to the services of this Work.

Everything we have experienced, the projects, the spirituality, the ideas and challenges, the mission, our values, all of this has brought us this far, strengthening our Charisma. We have overcome many difficulties and we want to continue renewed and with maximum confidence in the love of God!

For years to come let's continue with the same compassion that was with Jesus when he saw the crowds as sheep without a shepherd, communicating his Word, healing and delivering, and welcoming those who approached. We are at your service and if necessary we will offer our lives! For as our Sister and Foundress Maria Paola said: “No one takes my life, I offer it!”.

Thus, in these years we have not questioned the setbacks or the mission entrusted to us, on the contrary, every day we try to adapt even more to what the Holy Spirit impels us to do. In our services and in our works, our presence will always be generous.

Once again, we want to thank everyone who, in various ways, taught us to demonstrate the purity of love that demands nothing in return. We continue together with hope for the future and, even with so many uncertainties, we hope that in these 24 years we can celebrate greater achievements!

We at the Alliance are happy to have your friendship and for you to help us build this Movement. We feel supported and certain that together we can do much more, as we are family!
