Last week, the children cared for by Covenant of Mercy in the project village cuore experienced moments of deep joy and gratitude, celebrating Christmas with the true spirit of the birth of Jesus.

Christmas Dinner with the Children

On Tuesday, the 10th, a delicious Christmas dinner was prepared especially for children. With typical dishes from this time of year, the moment was marked by coexistence, laughter and the joy of being together to celebrate the birth of Christ.

Thanksgiving Mass and Christmas Party

On Thursday, the 12th, benefactors and friends of the project participated in an exciting Thanksgiving Mass, presided over by Father Evandro Torlai, president of the Alliance of Mercy. During the celebration, the children performed a dramatization about the birth of Jesus, followed by celebratory music, as a way of thanking those who collaborated to make the project possible.

After Mass, there was a party full of treats and gifts, filling the little ones with joy and creating memories that will remain forever in their hearts.

Meeting with Families

On Friday the 13th, it was the turn of families of those assisted participate in the celebration. During the meeting, there was a moment of spirituality and sharing, followed by a snack prepared with love for everyone. As a gesture of solidarity, the families also received Christmas baskets, ensuring a more special end of year in your homes.

O village cuore is a project of the Alliance of Mercy that serves children and their families in vulnerable situations. Through educational, cultural and spiritual activities, the project promotes the integral development of children, offering support to families so that they can build a future with more dignity.

In addition to ongoing support, the project seeks to offer special moments, such as Christmas celebrations, which strengthen family ties and awaken in those assisted the true meaning of love and solidarity.
