During the meeting between the president of Aliança de Misericórdia and its collaborators, held recently, an important milestone for the institution was announced: the launch of the Ethical Relationship Channel. This new tool represents a renewed commitment by the Alliance to integrity, transparency and accountability in all its activities.

Father Isaac Madureira, civil president of the Association, and Marina Simões, Legal manager, presented this initiative, highlighting its relevance for promoting a healthy and transparent work environment. Marina Simões emphasized that “Ethics is the foundation of a strong and sustainable organization. By providing a safe channel to report unethical behavior or policy violations, we are building a culture of trust and mutual respect.”.

Previously, more serious questions or reports had to be submitted via email or a form on the Alliance website. Now, with the new channel, reports can be made anonymously or identified, providing a safer environment free from possible reprisals. The proposal highly values confidentiality and respect for employees, allowing them to report concerns without fear of retaliation.

Developed to offer a safe and confidential space, the Ethical Relationship Channel will allow employees, clients, suppliers and all people linked to the Alliance to report concerns or complaints related to ethical issues in a safe way. This initiative reinforces the Alliance's commitment to promoting a healthier and more transparent work environment for everyone involved.
