The woman from Paraná Marcella Kozinski, 26 years old, was crowned Miss Universe Brazil 2026 on the night of last Saturday (25), in São Paulo.

Representing the Ilha do Mel (PR), the model and former Miss Paraná She is now preparing to represent Brazil in the world stage of the competition, which will take place in November in Puerto Rico.

Beyond her journey in beauty pageants, Marcella has also dedicated herself to social and humanitarian causes. Throughout this year, she has become closely acquainted with the work carried out by the Alliance of Mercy with children and families in vulnerable situations.

Recently, Marcella was in São Paulo to visit the CEI Mercy I (Children's Education Center) and the CCA Padre Pio (Children and Adolescents' Community Center) and the village cuore, located in Taipas Park, in the north of the city of São Paulo. She also visited the "Lamb of the Sacrifice" Shelter Home“, in Piracicaba, in the interior of the state, which serves dozens of people who have left the streets and/or drug addiction.

During the visit, Miss was able to observe the work that serves approximately 180 children and teenagers during after-school hours, offering sports, crafts and cooking workshops, as well as ensuring balanced meals and basic hygiene support for families in the region.

On her social media, Marcella highlighted the sensitivity and impact she found in the projects:

“"It's such a caring treatment that it's not just for the children, but also for the family members... because family is a fundamental part of raising a child."”

In addition to the actions focused on children and youth, Marcella also learned firsthand about the mission carried out in Welcome Homes From the Alliance of Mercy, dedicated to restoring the lives of men and women who were homeless and are now welcomed into a therapeutic restoration process, seeking to overcome chemical dependency.

This experience adds to other humanitarian experiences of the Miss, such as the visit she made to Venezuela in April, in which Marcella visited the Divine Child Oratory, a project of the Alliance of Mercy that welcomes approximately 120 children daily, offering food, education, support and, above all, hope amidst the challenges faced by the local population.

The experience profoundly marked the new Miss Universe Brazil. On her social media, Marcella shared the impact of the visit and reaffirmed the purpose she wishes to live by during her reign:

“"This is where 120 children receive food, education, and love every day. Where they can fight malnutrition amidst vulnerability. But, above all, where they learn that they can dream and achieve a better future..."That is my purpose as Miss: to serve!”

Upon learning about the projects and mission of the Alliance of Mercy, Marcella also became one. voice capable of amplifying the visibility of initiatives that They transform lives., but who often remain far from the spotlight.
