Last week, the Hirota Supermercados group chose Rahamim City, a project of the Alliance of Mercy, as the location for its end-of-year celebration. Store managers and team members spent the day getting to know the city and experiencing a little of the mission carried out by the Alliance.
The program began in the morning with a guided tour of the project, followed by a mass celebrated by Father João Henrique. During the celebration, participants also heard the testimony of one of the city's residents, who shared his life experience and the fruits of his work in Rahamim City.
The meeting ended with a gesture of solidarity: Francisco Hirota, owner of the supermarket chain, announced a donation to the Alliance of Mercy, replacing the company's traditional Secret Santa. In his speech, he highlighted to employees the importance of supporting initiatives that transform lives.

In particular, the Hirota supermarket chain has been an essential partner in the Alliance’s mission, donating food regularly. Every week, the Alliance collects donations at the supermarket’s headquarters, which, in addition to food, also contributes financially to support events held by the Movement at Sítio Botuquara, the movement’s mother house.
The company also welcomes the Nota Fiscal Paulista team, allowing Aliança employees to share the importance of contributing to social projects through their tax receipts. Employees are registered, and awareness is raised not only among the internal team, but also among customers.
The partnership with the Hirota group demonstrates how business initiatives can align themselves with the mission of the Alliance of Mercy, promoting not only significant experiences, but also a concrete impact on social transformation.
