Last Sunday, the 15th, the Home Restore Me, a project of the Alliance of Mercy in Brás, São Paulo, was the stage for an unforgettable event for more than 700 people in vulnerable situations. The action, organized by Good Burger (@goodburgerburger), brought joy, care and dignity to the participants, transforming an ordinary day into a special moment of welcome and hope.

The action had the participation of more than 200 volunteers, which offered a range of services and activities for those attended. Highlights of the day included:

• Special food: Artisan burgers, fries, soft drinks and ice cream were served with care.
• Health and wellness services: Services such as dentistry, which resulted in the delivery of 13 dental prostheses, as well as podiatry, manicure and barber.
• Support for social reintegration: Production of resumes, clothing store and craft workshops to encourage new life possibilities.
• Leisure moments: Games, bingo and the Dream Workshop, which brought smiles and hope to the participants.

The joy among those assisted was visible, showing how gestures of solidarity can bring dignity and transform lives, even in the midst of adversity.

A Home Restore Me is a project of the Alliance of Mercy that offers shelter and comprehensive care for people in situations of social vulnerability, especially homeless people. With assistance, training and evangelization actions, the House works to restore the dignity of those it serves and reintegrate them into society.
